 This scene is from "3 Idiots". I chose this video because it gives us a lesson about teaching. We will be teacher, so I decided to choose this video. I think it helps us change our point of view. In this video, there is a teacher of the parrot fashion system and a student who wants to have a modernist education system. The student gives a lesson to the teacher. I like so much the way that student uses to the teacher realize his fault.

Reflection Task 3

The Person of The Year "Nelson Mandela" 

Nelson Mandela,with full name Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, was a South-African politician, lawyer, activist and philanthropist. He was first black President of South-Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was born in a royal family of an African Tribe. He graduated from University of Witwatersrand where he studied law. After his graduation, he started to fight with racism. He became involved in anti-colonial politics and he joined the ANC. While he was working as a lawyer, he arrested many times because of his activist behaviors. He influenced from Marxism and secretly joined the South African Communist Party. He started to rise to prominence and sat on its Central Committee. Although,he said that there would be non-violent protests, he helped founding Umkhonto we Sizwe.Moreover, he leaded to a sabotage campaign against the government. In 1962, he was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. Mandela served over 27 years in prison, an international campaign lobbied for his release in the meantime. After Mandela was released in 1990, he established multi-racial elections and became first black President of South Africa. During his government, he cared about land reform, combat poverty, expand health care services. He refused to join a second election and focused on charity. Mandela was a strong figure due to his fighting character. Although he was denounced as terrorist by a lot of people, he never gave up. Moreover, he won a lot of honours in addition to the Nobel Peace Price in 1993. He died in 2013, but he has deep respect in Africa and he is still described as the father of the Africa.    

Reflection Task 2b 

Today, I chose a mini video from "3 Idiots" which is an inspiring film. In the video, there are two men who haven't chosen their decisions. They all have done what they have been said so far. Fortunately, they have realized that they have made a mistake and decided to live their lives as they want in an honest way. One of them is a photographer and he admire a famous photographer. He always wants to work with him and writes a letter to him, but he never mails it. As his father wants to him be an engineer, he never dares to do that. The other is always scared of failure. He always thinks he will never succeed anything in life and never graduate from the college. Thus, even if he is smart enough to graduate, he fails all the time. However, they start to believe themselves with the help of their friend and they even succeed to impress people.
  The video maker warns us about life in this video. She or he tries to realize the life we live and shows us how to fix it. Moreover, I agree with he or she about this case, because we want to live our lives without any limitations, but we don't do anything to come true our dreams. I think this film may encourage us take a concrete step to reform our lives.

Today, I want to inform you about Wikipedia. Yes, Wikipedia is that we always use in our daily life. I'll touch on its history, advantageous and disadvantageous. I chose this subject because nearly each of us use this website. Thus, I think if you use this, maybe you want to know its past. Let's start.

Wikipedia

As mentioned its website, Wikipedia is a multilingual, web-based, free-content encyclopedia project supported by the Wikimedia Foundation and based on an openly editable model. . The name "Wikipedia" is a portmanteau of the words wiki (a technology for creating collaborative websites, from the Hawaiian word wiki, meaning "quick") and encyclopedia. Wikipedia's articles provide links designed to guide the user to related pages with additional information.
Wikipedia is written collaboratively by largely anonymous Internet volunteers who write without pay. Anyone with Internet access can write and make changes to Wikipedia articles, except in limited cases where editing is restricted to prevent disruption or vandalism. Users can contribute anonymously, under a pseudonym, or, if they choose to, with their real identity. 

Indeed, Wikipedia provides us a large information source and we can reach it in seconds. Nevertheless, we may reach wrong or deficient information and we may use this as the right information.The information sources are so important in academic writings, so academicians have to take into consideration. Finally, however useful Wikipedia is, it is misleading, too. Thus, it's up to you how you use it.  

Reaction Task 1/B 

Hi everyone, 

Today I want to introduce you with Jason Mraz. Let's look at his life. Jason Mraz is a singer, song-writer and musician. He was born in Virginia, on June 23, 1977. He raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia which is a one-horse town. He went to Lee-Davis High School and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. He first came 

to prominence on the San Diego coffee house scene in 

2000. At one of these coffee houses, Mraz met 

percussionist Toca Rivera and they started to work 

together. He has released four albums so far. All of them 

are special albums. Moreover, Mraz has nominated to many 

awards and has won some of them. I wanted to introduce 

because I think he is a special man, his songs are different. 

Whenever I listen to his songs, I lose myself in his world. 

Sometimes, I can't believe that a man write these songs 

like "The Woman I Love" or "I'm Yours". His words are so 

sincere, so meaningful and so creative. While you're 

listening to music in a bad mood, his songs can make you 

smile and his voice makes you somewhere you can't imagine.

Thus, I suggest you take a look at his albums. I'm sure that 

you'll like it. Finally, I'll leave you to my favourite song.
